Robert Lucy paints most every day and has been for over twenty-five years.

He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA, 1988) and Masters (MFA, 1990) in Painting from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Since 2012, he has divided his studio time between working on commissioned portraits as well as his personal series of paintings which includes large-scale landscapes and ’70s TV icons.

Robert lives in the The Byrdcliffe Artists Colony in Woodstock, New York with his husband Chris Wells, founder of The Secret City.
